WebP → PNG with transparency
- Upload still or animated WebP
- Wait for first-frame PNG export
- Check transparency and dimensions; animation is not retained
Exports the first WebP frame as a PNG raster. Alpha is retained, but animation is not. PNG cannot recover details already lost in a lossy WebP.
- Check transparent edges and colors.
- Compare dimensions and the selected first frame.
- Keep animated WebP if motion is needed; use an animation-capable format instead.
