JPEG, PNG or WebP; up to 20 MB, 12 megapixels and 8192 pixels per side. Animated files use only the first frame. Export is an 8-bit browser-rendered image, without original metadata or a preserved print color profile.

How to use this tool

Represent photo tones with two ink colors and error diffusion.

  1. Choose the source image. Check its dimensions and the original preview.
  2. Choose ink and paper colors, set the brightness threshold and diffusion amount, then apply.
  3. Press Process image. Compare the result with the original, choose PNG, JPEG or WebP, then download the result. Changing a setting clears the previous result.

The exported file remains a normal RGB image with alpha, not a 1-bit bitmap. Fine dots should be viewed at original size; transparency interrupts error propagation.
