JPEG, PNG or WebP; up to 20 MB, 12 megapixels and 8192 pixels per side. Animated files use only the first frame. Export is an 8-bit browser-rendered image, without original metadata or a preserved print color profile.
Choose an image whose brightness or red and green channels control the distortion.
How to use this tool
Warp an image using the brightness or channels of a second image.
- Choose the source image. Check its dimensions and the original preview.
- Choose the source and a displacement map, adjust horizontal and vertical offsets and edge filling, then apply.
- Press Process image. Compare the result with the original, choose PNG, JPEG or WebP, then download the result. Changing a setting clears the previous result.
The map is stretched to the source. RGB value 128 is neutral; transparent map pixels have no effect. This is a two-dimensional warp.
Supported formats
This tool accepts these formats. Uncommon containers and modern web formats may be normalized or converted on the server before processing.
A damaged file or a non-standard codec can still fail even when the extension is supported.
