How to use this tool
Select a brightness range as a grayscale mask or transparency.
- Choose the source image. Check its dimensions and the original preview.
- Set the minimum and maximum brightness and soften the tonal boundaries. Choose a mask or transparent cutout, then apply.
- Press Process image. Compare the result with the original, choose PNG, JPEG or WebP, then download the result. Changing a setting clears the previous result.
White in the grayscale mask means selected visible pixels; black means excluded. The mask is an opaque image, while transparency output retains source colors.
Supported formats
This tool accepts these formats. Uncommon containers and modern web formats may be normalized or converted on the server before processing.
A damaged file or a non-standard codec can still fail even when the extension is supported.
