How to use this tool

Reduce isolated light and dark specks with a median filter and an adjustable difference threshold.

  1. Choose the source image. Check its dimensions and the original preview.
  2. Start with radius 1, set a difference threshold, apply and inspect fine detail before increasing the radius.
  3. Press Process image. Compare the result with the original, choose PNG, JPEG or WebP, then download the result. Changing a setting clears the previous result.

Best for isolated specks. This is not AI restoration and does not repair large scratches; high radii can remove texture. Original transparency is retained.
