JPEG, PNG or WebP; up to 20 MB, 12 megapixels and 8192 pixels per side. Animated files use only the first frame. Export is an 8-bit browser-rendered image, without original metadata or a preserved print color profile.

How to use this tool

Smooth small color variations while retaining stronger edges.

  1. Choose the source image. Check its dimensions and the original preview.
  2. Choose a radius, color tolerance and strength. Start with low tolerance and compare fine details.
  3. Press Process image. Compare the result with the original, choose PNG, JPEG or WebP, then download the result. Changing a setting clears the previous result.

Uses two directional edge-aware passes. It is not identical to Photoshop Surface Blur and does not detect skin. Strong settings can flatten texture.
