Use this tool when a route, track or waypoint collection from Google Earth must be opened in Garmin BaseCamp, MapSource or compatible Garmin workflows.
KML and KMZ files are parsed in the browser for preview. The normalized GPX payload is sent to the server only for GDB generation.
Waypoints and tracks convert best. KML styling, icons, overlays and complex polygons may be simplified because Garmin GDB stores navigation data rather than Google Earth presentation.
