Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 8, 2026
This policy explains how the Exchange Indicators Android app (package net.inettools.marketindicators, Russian name «Биржевые индикаторы») handles data when displaying public market indicators. It applies only to the Android app; the Market Indicators browser extension has a separate policy.
The app is published by InetTools. For privacy questions, contact us at support@inettools.net.
The app displays aggregated public market data: the Bank of Russia key rate, RUONIA indicators, CBR currency rates, CBR metals, MOEX indexes, MOEX currency pairs, and selected cryptocurrency indicators. These market values are not the user's personal data.
To refresh the dashboard and history, the app calls public InetTools endpoints: https://inettools.net/api/market-indicators and https://inettools.net/api/market-indicators/history. During these requests, the InetTools server may automatically receive standard technical request data such as IP address, user agent, request time, requested URL, and delivery error details. This data is used for security, diagnostics, and stable API operation.
The app stores the last received data snapshot, the selected interface theme, and the indicators selected by the user for the main tab on the device. This data is used to open the app faster, show the latest known values during temporary network errors, and restore interface settings. Local storage does not contain accounts, name, email, phone number, payment data, or user documents.
The app uses AppMetrica for usage analytics and crash diagnostics. Technical app events may be sent to AppMetrica, including app launch, tab selection, theme changes, data refresh results, cache usage, loading errors, indicator selection changes, and crash information. These events help us understand app stability and fix issues.
The app does not require sign-in and does not send name, email, phone number, contacts, payment data, or user documents to AppMetrica. The AppMetrica SDK may process technical information about the device, app, session, install source, and diagnostics. In the app configuration, location transfer is disabled, Android location permissions are not requested, and the AppMetrica advertising identifiers module is excluded from the Android build.
The app needs internet access to receive public market data and send AppMetrica diagnostic events. The analytics SDK may add technical permissions for network state checks or install-source handling. The app does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, precise or approximate location, SMS, calendar, user files, or payment data.
We do not sell users' personal data. Data needed for analytics and diagnostics is transferred to AppMetrica/Yandex as the analytics service provider. Technical server logs may be processed by InetTools infrastructure and hosting providers for security and API support.
Users can delete local app data through Android system settings or by uninstalling the app. Clearing app data removes the local cache, theme, and selected indicators. For questions about data that has already been sent to InetTools or AppMetrica servers, contact us at support@inettools.net.
The app is not specifically directed to children and does not include account registration, user content publishing, or communication features between users.
We may update this policy when the app, API, analytics configuration, or legal requirements change. The new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
