Garmin custom POI converter

Create a Garmin GPI package from waypoint files. Choose name encoding, category and a default proximity distance; inspect verified point counts.

UTF-8 supports multilingual names but is not supported by every Garmin model. Windows-1252 is for legacy Western-European devices. Proximity is a default in metres and does not override distances already stored in the source.
