Guide updated:
Set image dimensions, keep proportions and save a supported output copy.
Open this guide using the “How to use this tool” link below the tool name. It includes steps, screenshots and videos for computers and phones.
Before you start
Keep the original image. Increasing dimensions does not guarantee additional real detail.

Step-by-step instructions
- Choose the image and wait for its dimensions and resize controls.
- Select the available pixel or percentage sizing mode.
- Enter the intended width or height and keep proportions linked unless you deliberately want distortion.
- Choose the available output format and quality, then apply the resize or export action.
- Open the saved copy and verify its pixel dimensions and appearance.
On a computer
Use the full-width working panel to compare the source, settings and result. Keep the original file so you can try another setting without replacing it.
On a phone
Choose the source from Files or your device file manager. Scroll down to the settings and result; keep this tab open until the operation finishes.
In Safari on iPhone, open the sharing menu and choose Save to Files if the result opens in a new tab. In Android Chrome, check Downloads. Keep this tab open until processing finishes.
For a better result
For a strict square requirement, cropping and resizing have different effects. Check which operation the page offers before changing proportions.

Questions and troubleshooting
Why did the other dimension change automatically?
The aspect-ratio control keeps the original proportions. Unlock it only if stretching is acceptable.
Will a larger image become sharper?
Resizing adds pixels but cannot guarantee restoration of the original detail.
If you see a message that the service is overloaded, wait and try again later. A failed attempt does not mean that your source file has changed.
