Improve image quality online

Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP image and improve its quality online. The service can reduce noise and create a larger PNG result at 1x, 2x or 4x scale when enhanced processing is available on the server.

This mode is separated from the regular resize tool: it focuses only on quality improvement and uses the same server-side enhancement pipeline as the enhanced resize mode.

✓ Use Real-ESRGAN for general photos when it is available on the server.

✓ Use face modes such as GFPGAN or CodeFormer for portraits.

✓ Use waifu2x, Real-CUGAN or Real-ESRGAN Anime for drawings, comics and anime.

✓ Use 1x modes when you need denoising without changing the image size.

✓ Large images and unsupported scales are blocked before processing starts.

✓ Heavy experimental modes are hidden from the public interface when they create too much GPU load.

Supported formats

This tool accepts these formats. Uncommon containers and modern web formats may be normalized or converted on the server before processing.

A damaged file or a non-standard codec can still fail even when the extension is supported.
